Position Summary

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to creating a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The Host/Hostess manages seating arrangements, maintains cleanliness, and upholds the high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Host/Hostess include:

• Greeting guests upon arrival and accurately determining the number of diners.
• Seating guests at available and clean tables, assisting with chairs, and providing up-to-date menus.
• Guiding guests through the dining area and offering assistance as needed.
• Arranging and organizing tables and chairs, adjusting layouts to accommodate specific group requirements.
• Ensuring all place settings are complete with napkins, clean silverware, and standard items.
• Verifying that menus are sufficient, current, clean, and wrinkle-free.
• Monitoring available seating, service flow, safety, and guest well-being within dining rooms.
• Performing other tasks as requested by supervisors that correspond to the position.

Service and Operational Standards

Adherence to established standards is essential for this role, encompassing:

• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, adhering to continuous cleaning procedures.
• Following and applying all company safety policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and hazardous conditions.
• Completing all required safety training and obtaining necessary certifications.
• Ensuring a clean and complete work uniform, maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Respecting confidentiality regarding brand and hotel information, and protecting company property.
• Welcoming and receiving all guests in accordance with company standards.
• Using clear and courteous language in all communications and answering the phone appropriately.
• Developing positive and constructive professional relationships with colleagues, fostering teamwork and mutual support.
• Listening and responding appropriately to other employees' concerns.
• Ensuring compliance with quality requirements and standards.

Physical Demands

Candidates for the Host/Hostess position must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Ability to work standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods.
• Capable of independently moving, lifting, carrying, pulling, and placing loads weighing up to kilograms.
