About the Housekeeping Coordinator Role
Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator for its Riyadh location. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals, supporting local talent development. The Housekeeping Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient operations and seamless service delivery within the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, located in the Kingdom Tower.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and coordinating daily housekeeping operations. This involves facilitating clear communication between the housekeeping team and other hotel departments, ensuring that service requests are managed promptly and accurately. The role requires maintaining essential records, including room status updates, maintenance requests, and guest preferences, to support operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Additionally, the coordinator will assign tasks to housekeeping staff based on guest and operational priorities, monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies, and provide timely updates on room readiness to the front desk team. Flexibility to support the department during peak operational periods is also a key aspect of this role.
Key Duties and Tasks
- Coordinate and communicate effectively between the housekeeping team and other departments.
- Manage and respond to housekeeping service requests promptly and accurately.
- Maintain records, including room status updates, maintenance requests, and guest preferences.
- Assign tasks to housekeeping staff based on guest and operational priorities.
- Interact with guests over the phone in a polite and courteous manner as per company policy.
- Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Provide accurate and timely updates on room readiness for the front desk team.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the housekeeping desk area.
- Show flexibility to support the department when needed based on operational requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Work Schedule and Compensation
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on guest needs.
