About the Role

Meena Health is seeking a Laboratory Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in clinical laboratory settings, including significant supervisory or managerial experience. The role focuses on overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality, and preparing for accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratories for CBAHI accreditation, with a preference for experience with CAP or JCI standards.
• Manage and oversee operations across multiple lab disciplines, including Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and Blood Bank.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance / Quality Control program, including proficiency testing and corrective action documentation.
• Evaluate and validate new methods, instruments, and vendors to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage laboratory budgeting, including revenue, cost, and CAPEX, alongside resource planning.
• Design and implement competency assessment and in-service training programs for testing personnel.
• Handle staff scheduling, leave planning, and performance evaluations.
• Address patient, client, and staff complaints professionally and effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field. A Master's or MBA is considered a plus.
• Valid SCFHS registration/classification as a Laboratory Specialist is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a laboratory.
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and data analysis/reporting tools.
