About the Role

People Group Arabia is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead and oversee logistics planning and delivery for one of the Kingdom’s significant giga developments in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for developing and implementing integrated logistics strategies that support the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of large-scale infrastructure and vertical construction programs. The Senior Logistics Manager will report to the Project Director and provide strategic leadership across all aspects of construction logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive construction logistics strategies, plans, policies, and procedures for complex, multi-package programs.
• Lead the planning and delivery of logistics solutions across multiple work fronts and construction zones.
• Establish and manage construction logistics plans (CLPs), traffic management plans (TMPs), and logistics execution frameworks.
• Develop logistics scopes of work, contract packaging strategies, budgets, and commercial documentation.
• Prepare logistics forecasts and demand estimates to support program delivery requirements.
• Oversee all site logistics activities, including construction material movements, equipment and plant transportation, workforce transportation systems, waste management and recycling operations, laydown yards and storage facilities, and internal site traffic management.
• Lead the design and implementation of construction laydown areas and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure logistics operations support program milestones and minimize disruption to adjacent works and stakeholders.
• Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary logistics teams, including logistics managers, coordinators, analysts, and specialist consultants.
• Build high-performing teams and promote a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to project delivery teams and senior management.
• Coach and develop team members through mentoring, performance management, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with project directors, delivery teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure logistics activities are fully integrated into program delivery.
• Interface with government agencies, regulatory bodies, utility providers, and external stakeholders on logistics-related matters.
• Chair logistics coordination meetings and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage contractor logistics compliance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

Governance, Safety, and Compliance

• Ensure all logistics activities comply with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
• Champion health, safety, security, and environmental excellence across all logistics operations.
• Lead logistics-related incident investigations and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Establish and monitor logistics KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting mechanisms.
• Promote innovation and best practices to improve logistics efficiency, sustainability, and operational resilience.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced logistics professional with a proven track record of 5-10 years in delivering integrated logistics solutions on large-scale, complex developments. This role requires strong leadership capability, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and innovative logistics operations that enable world-class project delivery.
