About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is essential for ensuring that SADAFCO products are consistently available and prominently visible at the point of purchase, strictly adhering to established planograms and customer contracts. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenish shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays according to company guidelines to ensure full product availability.
• Liaise with the sales team to confirm that outlets maintain sufficient stock of relevant SKUs to support all designated display areas as per contract terms and planograms.
• Ensure the excellent presentation of products, adhering to merchandising policy, planograms, and space rental agreements.
• Position Point of Sale (POS) materials in all appropriate locations and manage the removal or replacement of old or damaged POS items.
• Verify that the current and correct price is displayed for all products at all times.
• Ensure all company assets, including racks, stands, chillers, and freezers, are clean and facilitate their replacement for repair when necessary.

Product Quality and Shelf Life Management

• Follow company policy regarding date code and aging product management.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support product returns in accordance with the company's date code policy.
• Implement effective product rotation practices to prevent product expiry issues.
• Ensure that products nearest to their expiry dates are positioned at the front of the shelf.

Operational Compliance and Reporting

• Diligently use company-provided tools, such as the Merchandising App, to track store performance and inventories as per guidelines from the Team Leader or Merchandising Supervisor.
• Capture and submit pictures of executed shelves and displays in accordance with company requirements.
• Report any observed competitor activities in the market, including pricing, new products, and promotions, to the line manager.
• Ensure the Journey Plan (JP) is regularly followed within the specified visit frequency.

Customer Interaction and Professional Representation

• Support customers and resolve concerns by responding appropriately to requests, such as providing relevant information regarding stock levels or issues with chillers/freezers.
• Maintain professional grooming and personal appearance in line with company standards.
• Ensure the company car is clean, both inside and outside.
• Verify that all delivered products are in excellent, undamaged condition, as your appearance and the quality of products represent SADAFCO.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a merchandising role.
• Possession of a full driving license with a clean history.
