About Parsons and the Opportunity

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Planning Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading planning and scheduling efforts for a high-profile building project located in Qiddiya, Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning and scheduling. This position requires significant experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and construction supervision, coupled with a deep understanding of various project planning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide detailed comments on the Contractor’s Programmes and reports.
• Prepare programmes and chair workshops with contractors to guide them in achieving requirements for Baseline acceptance, schedule monitoring, and reporting.
• Review and verify the contractor's daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Prepare and present reports to the Employer, corporate management, and executive management on a regular basis.
• Participate in the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Verify the contractor's progress against approved Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Follow up on contractor site progress and report any deviation from the approved baseline.
• Confirm daily report data accuracy.
• Analyze and report on contractor delay claims.
• Verify physical progress through site inspections as required.
• Attend and contribute to meetings including progress, commercial, and project controls, chairing meetings as required.
• Prepare or review meeting minutes as required.
• Mentor Parsons and Contractor staff in planning and scheduling best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Significant experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and construction supervision.
• Demonstrated deep understanding of project planning methodologies.
