About the Role

NMR Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with substantial experience in procurement, particularly within real estate development, contracting, and construction projects. The Procurement Supervisor will oversee all procurement activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise procurement activities for real estate and construction projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contractual terms.
  • Manage requests for quotations, tender processes, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
  • Review and negotiate purchase agreements and subcontract terms, including payment conditions, warranties, delivery obligations, penalties, and termination clauses.
  • Identify contractual risks and coordinate with legal counsel to protect the company’s interests and resolve supplier claims or disputes.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, quality standards, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Supervise the procurement team and maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and cost reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant procurement experience, with proven experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Direct experience with real estate developers, contracting companies, or construction projects is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement contracts, commercial terms, contractual risk, and legal compliance is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience procuring construction materials, equipment, subcontractor works, and project services.

Required Skills

  • Strong negotiation, commercial evaluation, supplier management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to interpret project specifications and bills of quantities (BOQs).
  • Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.

Compensation

The monthly salary for this position starts from SAR 14,000, with the final offer based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
