Role Overview

Unifonic is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves managing and enhancing the company's compliance function, focusing on anticipating issues and developing proactive, practical solutions for the business. The specialist will work to ensure regulatory adherence and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
• Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Maintain open communication with decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory updates and impacts.
• Organize regular training sessions for employees on key regulatory changes.
• Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Maintain internal regulatory compliance through communication, approvals, and stakeholder training.
• Apply for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and maintain a compliance recordkeeping system.
• Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
• Stay updated on compliance requirements and regulatory amendments.
• Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements.
• Maintain a compliance communication register and documentation.
• Create and manage action plans for regulatory compliance audit findings and violations.
• Remediate regulatory audits, conduct periodic reviews, and compile gaps and action plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a compliance analyst or specialist within an enterprise-level organization.
• Strong experience in reviewing and drafting policies and documentation in both Arabic and English.
• Higher Education/Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Management field.
• Experience with international standards and local regulatory requirements related to telecommunications, data protection, and data localization.
• Compliance management or project management certification is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to effectively plan, manage, and complete projects in line with stakeholder needs and organizational objectives.
• Diligent attention to detail and advanced analytical abilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
