We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a full-time capacity.

The Compliance Function at UNIFONIC

The Compliance team at UNIFONIC is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's compliance function. The team focuses on all compliance affairs, working to anticipate issues and develop proactive, practical solutions for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
• Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Maintain open communication with all relevant decision-makers and stakeholders to keep parties informed of regulatory communication and impact.
• Organize regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and updates effectively.
• Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.
• Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Maintain internal regulatory compliance through communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
• Manage applications for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and maintain a compliance recordkeeping system.
• Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
• Stay updated on compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements.
• Maintain the compliance communication register and related documentation.
• Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit discoveries and compliance violations.
• Remediate any regulatory audits and periodic reviews, compiling identified gaps and action plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Higher Education/Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or a Management field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a compliance analyst or specialist within an enterprise-level organization.
• Strong experience in both reviewing and drafting policies and documentation in both Arabic and English.
• Experience with international standards and local regulatory requirements related to telecommunications, data protection, and data localization.
• Ability to effectively plan, manage, and complete projects in line with stakeholders’ needs and expectations, and organizational strategic objectives.

Preferred Certifications

• Compliance management or project management certification is a plus.

Work Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
