About the Role

Skilled Careers is seeking a Senior Consultant – Delay to join a leading global claims consultancy. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on delivering expert delay analysis for major construction projects.

Role Context

The successful candidate will be part of an established team of industry experts, providing planning, forensic delay, and dispute support services across a diverse portfolio of complex projects. The role involves working on some of the Middle East's largest and most intricate projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare forensic delay analyses utilizing recognized industry methodologies.
• Review project programmes, progress records, and relevant documentation.
• Support the preparation of expert witness reports and contribute to dispute proceedings.
• Advise clients on matters related to delay, disruption, and extension of time claims.
• Collaborate with legal teams, experts, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in the mentoring and development of junior consultants.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Possess 5-10 years of extensive experience within a recognized claims consultancy.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Primavera P6 planning software.
• Proven experience in conducting forensic delay analysis.
• Exhibit an excellent understanding of construction contracts and programme management principles.
• Possess strong report writing and communication skills.
• GCC experience is considered advantageous but not essential.
