About the Role

EY Saudi Arabia is seeking to hire Senior External Auditors to join their Audit team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and requires 2-5 years of professional experience.

Role Overview

As a Senior External Auditor, you will support clients in meeting their financial reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing insights into accounting and reporting matters. You will be an integral part of audit engagements, contributing to the team's success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements, working collaboratively as a team member.
• Share responsibilities, provide support, and maintain effective communication with senior team members.
• Assist in preparing for and participating in meetings with client management teams.
• Prepare reports and schedules for delivery to clients and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Establish and manage internal and external relationships.
• Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY.
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals.
• Anticipate, identify, and escalate risks as appropriate.
• Ensure the quality of work delivered to clients is high and properly reviewed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A strong academic record, including a degree.
• A minimum of four years of professional experience in external audit.
• Ideally, a degree or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
