Senior Manager Health and Safety

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Health and Safety to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies, systems, and compliance programs across various projects and operations. The Senior Manager will ensure all activities adhere to safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards, as well as company policies and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a strong safety culture across projects and operational teams through leadership, coaching, and awareness programs.
• Monitor compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company HSE requirements.
• Oversee HSE performance across contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to identify risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons learned initiatives.
• Develop and monitor HSE KPIs, dashboards, and management reports.
• Ensure environmental management plans are implemented, including waste management, pollution prevention, sustainability, and resource conservation initiatives.
• Review project designs, construction methodologies, and operational activities to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and crisis management procedures.
• Support procurement and contract management teams on HSE requirements and contractor prequalification processes.
• Provide regular HSE updates and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in health and safety management. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies and ensuring compliance across complex projects and operations.
