About the Role

Robert Walters is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Software Development for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is critical for leading and directing software development teams to build and scale digital platforms within the financial services sector. The position requires managing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions that drive innovation in digital banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software development teams in the design and delivery of cloud-native digital banking platforms.
• Manage the SDLC using Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical direction on software architecture and design to achieve high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Oversee the development of API-first architectures to facilitate seamless integration with fintech partners and external ecosystems.
• Implement DevSecOps practices to maintain data security, compliance, and service continuity.
• Conduct technical code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous innovation by promoting the adoption of modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Manage technical resources and effectively allocate tasks to meet project timelines and delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into innovative and user-friendly technical solutions.
• Ensure software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in technology, software engineering, or digital platform development.
• Strong expertise in modern programming languages such as Java, Go, or *****
• Proficiency in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
