About the Role

KGDR Consultants is seeking a Senior Planning, Scheduling & Contracts Specialist to support complex project planning, execution, and contractual management. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, combines advanced project scheduling and progress monitoring with contract administration, procurement coordination, and claims management. The role requires 5-10 years of experience and strong capabilities in Microsoft Project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, delays, and potential risks.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, recovery plans, and performance analyses.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Support contract administration, including monitoring contractual milestones, deliverables, and obligations.
  • Review and track contract variations, change orders, claims, and extension-of-time requests.
  • Assist in preparing contractual correspondence and supporting documentation.
  • Participate in tender preparation, bid evaluations, procurement planning, and contractor coordination.
  • Identify potential contractual and scheduling risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation supports contractual compliance and project performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing complex project schedules and critical paths.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, claims management, and change control.
  • Experience with government tenders and procurement processes is preferred.
  • Relevant procurement or contract management accreditation is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Ability to analyze project delays, schedule impacts, and contractual risks.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a consulting environment focused on complex project delivery.
