About the Role

Salt is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a global communications agency in its Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office. This full-time position involves working with high-profile client accounts, with a focus on corporate communications and PR. The role requires a communications professional with 5-10 years of experience who understands the Saudi market and can manage complex client relationships.

Role Purpose

The Senior Account Manager will develop and deliver strategic PR campaigns aimed at building brand reputation, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and securing media coverage. This role involves managing client accounts, developing communication strategies, and leading integrated PR campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily client relationships, serving as a primary contact for PR and communications activities.
Develop and implement strategic PR and communications plans aligned with client objectives.
Lead corporate communications initiatives, including reputation management, executive profiling, and thought leadership.
Oversee media relations, building relationships with journalists and media outlets across Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
Draft press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, key messages, and corporate content.
Identify proactive storytelling opportunities to enhance client visibility and reputation.
Manage multiple accounts and projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables within timelines and budgets.
Support crisis communications and issues management for clients.
Collaborate with regional and global agency teams to ensure consistent messaging.
Monitor media coverage and industry developments in the Saudi business landscape.
Prepare client reports, campaign evaluations, and performance analysis.
Support new business pitches and account growth.
Mentor junior team members and oversee their professional development.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proactive and commercially minded communications professional with strong client servicing skills and strategic PR expertise. This role requires an individual who understands reputation management and can translate complex business messages into clear communications. Candidates should be confident working with senior stakeholders, managing multiple accounts, and balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery. Experience in corporate communications and a solid understanding of the Saudi market are preferred.
