Raissy Trading and Contracting Company is seeking a Site Engineer Underground Cable (UG Cable) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the successful execution of critical infrastructure projects within the region. The company is looking for a dedicated professional to ensure high standards of project delivery and operational excellence.

The Role of Site Engineer, UG Cable

The Site Engineer will be responsible for the direct supervision of 132KV underground cable (UG) projects. This involves overseeing all project activities from initiation to completion, with a strong focus on operational safety and adherence to established timelines. A core aspect of this role is ensuring strict compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, project specifications, and all approved engineering drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise UG cable installation, jointing, termination, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor trenching, duct bank construction, backfilling, cable laying, and reinstatement works.
• Coordinate effectively with subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure continuous compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress, proactively resolve site issues, and prepare accurate daily and weekly reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in underground cable projects, specifically involving 115kV, 132kV, 230kV, or 380kV systems.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of SEC standards, submission procedures, inspection protocols, and approval processes.
• Demonstrated experience in cable laying, jointing, termination, testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Work Environment and Preferences

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates with prior experience in Saudi Arabia and specific experience on previous SEC projects are preferred. The role requires a proactive approach to site management and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
