About the Role

alfanar, a company with operations in construction, manufacturing, and engineering services across the Middle East and other regions, is seeking a Site Foreman - Electrical for its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading on-site electrical teams to ensure the efficient and safe installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

Role Purpose and Context

The Site Foreman - Electrical is responsible for overseeing the on-site electrical team, ensuring all tasks are performed according to project specifications and safety standards. This role requires effective troubleshooting, meticulous documentation, and strict adherence to electrical codes and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, ensuring tasks align with specifications and standards.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Oversee the proper utilization of tools, materials, and equipment on site.
• Assign tasks to site workers, monitor their performance, and provide guidance to achieve daily objectives.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to resolve operational issues.
• Track daily progress, report updates to the site engineer or project manager, and identify potential delays or challenges.
• Ensure the timely availability of necessary materials and resources.
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations, conducting regular inspections to maintain safe working conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, work logs, and incidents.
• Assist in preparing progress reports and submitting updates to supervisors.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates, delegating tasks effectively to maintain team morale.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational targets and delivery schedules, utilizing resources efficiently.
• Resolve on-site problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Ensure quality requirements are met through effective quality control processes.
• Coordinate written systems, policies, and procedures, and identify opportunities for automation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma Degree from an Electrical Institute.
• 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
