Site Support Engineer

About the Role

Throne Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Support Engineer for a freelance onsite assignment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting a Microsoft MLS/MTC project, focusing on the operational integrity of customer-facing Experience Centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite smart hands support for customer-facing Experience Centers, including core network and compute infrastructure.
• Perform rack and stack operations, logical provisioning, and hardware decommissioning.
• Support incident and problem management for core compute infrastructure.
• Handle network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of onsite customer experiences and demos.
• Conduct daily checks and walkthroughs of demo environments.
• Provide support to presenters, account managers, customers, and Experience Center staff.
• Maintain inventory of experience and demo assets.
• Create and manage Azure environments for Hybrid Cloud engagements.
• Provide technical support during customer visits, events, and engagements.
• Manage hardware warranties, RMA processes, repairs, and equipment lifecycle.
• Coordinate with OEM partners, IT teams, AV suppliers, and integrators.
• Support AV/meeting room infrastructure, including break-fix and preventative maintenance (desirable).

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant site support or IT engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience with network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in managing compute infrastructure and supporting customer-facing technical environments.

Work Arrangement

This is a freelance position requiring onsite presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
