Sr. Consultant Functional SAP MDG

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Sr. Consultant Functional SAP MDG to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring an effective Master Data Governance (MDG) product that supports Alfanar's global data strategy. The consultant will be responsible for maintaining high-quality, compliant, and well-integrated master data across systems, enabling consistent, secure, and reliable data for enterprise operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Define the product roadmap for enterprise data governance tools, including Pilog and SAP MDG, aligning with global data strategy and business objectives.
• Own the end-to-end MDG product lifecycle, implementing governance rules, workflows, validations, and controls based on business owner decisions.
• Oversee integration with SAP S/4HANA, Data Dictionary, APIs, data services, and legacy systems, ensuring compatibility across the Alfanar ecosystem.
• Recommend and implement data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment initiatives upon business owner approval, partnering with data stewards to maintain high-quality master data.
• Define global data migration strategy, mapping rules, and transformation logic, overseeing cutover and mock tests for global rollouts.
• Act as a liaison between business, IT, and data teams, collecting requirements, managing and executing backlog, and prioritizing features.
• Ensure adherence to GDPR, SOX, internal policies, and data governance frameworks such as ISO/DAMA.
• Manage the product lifecycle, delivering MDG product features, enhancements, and integrations on time, and ensuring continuous improvements and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in SAP MDG and data governance. The role requires a strong understanding of master data processes, integration architecture, and data quality initiatives.
