The Role of Sr. Oracle SCM Consultant

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a Sr. Oracle SCM Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience in Oracle SCM Cloud, focusing on ERP system implementation, business requirement gathering, and solution design. The consultant will be instrumental in managing and delivering SCM modules across various business units and project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the ERP System (Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud), including identifying gaps and understanding integration requirements.
• Gather business requirements by understanding processes, mapping applications, and preparing proposed solution designs.
• Develop business re-engineering and modeling strategies.
• Set up design solutions and configure system parameters.
• Manage and deliver SCM modules to business units throughout all project phases.
• Configure business applications such as Oracle Fusion Inventory (costing, receipt), Fusion Manufacturing (discrete and process), Maintenance Cloud, Fusion Self-Service Procurement, Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, Supplier Portal, Procurement Contract, and Fusion Order Management (with POS experience).
• Evaluate user proficiency, define training requirements, and conduct user training on business applications.
• Provide Oracle methodology documents, including training guides, application setup, and test scripts, and collect custom report requirements for the technical team.
• Identify gaps in SCM Fusion and collaborate with the development team to build solutions that meet business requirements.
• Work with technical developers to resolve application functioning issues.
• Identify and resolve project issues to ensure project go-live status.
• Troubleshoot issues related to application use and functionality.
• Collaborate directly with the Oracle Financial Track Lead on ERP system implementation.
• Work closely with the IT department manager on IT project management and planning activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in Oracle SCM Cloud.
• Proficiency in ERP System (Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud).
• Demonstrated ability to identify gaps and knowledge of integration.
• Strong understanding of business processes and application mapping.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Inventory, Manufacturing, Maintenance Cloud, and various Procurement and Order Management modules.
