About the Storekeeper Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking a full-time Storekeeper to join their team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience looking to begin their career in hospitality operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and organize merchandise by department, marking items for correct warehouse placement and delivering them to the appropriate departments.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts.
• Complete order forms for inventory and supply needs.
• Proactively inform a manager or supervisor of stock depletion.
• Receive deliveries, properly store perishable goods, and manage stock rotation.
• Inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, conformity, and lot quality.
• Refuse damaged, non-conforming, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to sanitation and handling procedures in all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and disinfect refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and pipes.
• Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management.
• Attend required safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Follow and apply all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and complete uniform is worn and maintaining a neat, professional appearance.
• Respect the confidentiality of company information and protect all company assets.
• Use clear, courteous, and professional language when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers, assisting each other to achieve common goals.
• Comply with quality requirements and standards.
• Perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including extension movements, bending, twisting, pulling, and folding; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; ascend and descend stairs; move, lift, or carry loads up to 23 kilograms; and work standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods.
