Role Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced Surveyor - Cost Management Surveyor III to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is for a professional with a comprehensive understanding of their specialization, capable of addressing diverse problems within their area of expertise. The role involves working under limited supervision, typically receiving general instructions on new assignments while handling routine tasks with minimal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveys to determine the locations of natural features and human-made structures on the earth's surface, underground, and underwater, utilizing electronic distance-measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
  • Operate and manage land-information computer systems, performing tasks such as data storage, inquiry processing, and the production of plots and reports.
  • Review information provided by survey teams concerning the measurement of distances, directions, angles between points, and the elevation of points, lines, and contours on, above, and below the earth’s surface.
  • Research legal records, identify evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze data to accurately determine the location of boundary lines.
  • Record survey results, verify data accuracy, and prepare comprehensive plots, maps, and reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in surveying or a related field.
  • Demonstrated full understanding of the area of specialization.
  • Proficiency in operating electronic distance-measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
  • Experience with land-information computer systems for data management and reporting.
