About the Role

Applied Computer Services Company (HASIB) is seeking a Systems Solutions Implementation and Operations Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the successful deployment, operation, and ongoing support of information systems and business solutions for clients. The role involves a blend of technical implementation, user training, and direct client engagement to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client needs analysis and prepare Gap Analysis documents to identify discrepancies between proposed systems and current work methods.
• Assess and ensure the readiness of client infrastructure for system installation, defining necessary specifications for both testing and production environments.
• Ensure the readiness of technical requirements for operating systems to be supplied.
• Install and deliver systems on client testing and production environments, verifying infrastructure and technical requirements are met.
• Develop and implement user training plans for all user types on system procedures, features, and mechanisms, adhering to approved project plans.
• Prepare and execute supervision plans for system application at client sites, following best practices and approved project plans.
• Oversee the entry of basic data, general system settings, and core codes until handover to the client's system administrator.
• Supervise the User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase.
• Provide guidance and follow-up to system users to ensure smooth workflow and address emerging issues.
• Communicate directly with users, analyze and document problems in the tracking system, and follow up on resolutions and solution installations post-quality review.
• Prepare and present system update guides or lists to clients before installation.
• Perform necessary tests on client testing environments, ensuring integrity of installations and updates, and obtaining client approval before production deployment.
• Install updated system versions, prepare approved reports, and deliver solutions for observations and new modifications.
• Offer technical support, respond to inquiries, and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Resolve simple, documented problems within company guidelines.
• Prioritize solutions for observations and modifications based on client needs, escalating problems when necessary, and keeping clients informed of progress.
• Ensure accuracy, comprehensiveness, clarity, and documentation in all communications with clients and project management.
• Review user-requested modifications to confirm their availability in the system before forwarding to the company.
• Proactively identify system observations and work towards resolution or report them to project management for prompt correction.
• Stay updated on new system releases and features.
• Support the sales department by demonstrating system features and participating in relevant meetings.
• Maintain professional client interactions, consistently reflecting a positive company image.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related computer field from a recognized university, with a preference for Information Systems specialization.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in information systems applications and business solutions, particularly with GRP or ERP systems.
