About Devoteam and the Technology Architect Role

Devoteam is a technology consulting firm with over 25 years of experience, operating in 18+ countries across EMEA and beyond. We are seeking a Technology Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Technology Architect will lead key initiatives in enterprise architecture, digital and cloud transformation, and technology consulting. This pivotal role involves driving the adoption of innovative technology solutions that meet client business goals and enhance their efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise architecture (EA) strategies that align with client business objectives.
• Develop technology and infrastructure architectural models to meet current and future organizational needs efficiently, sustainably, and adaptably.
• Lead governance processes for new architectures, ensuring adherence to company standards and IT budgets.
• Guide clients through digital transformation initiatives to improve the effectiveness of their business strategies.
• Design and implement technology infrastructure solutions that enhance business processes, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging technology trends and their potential impact on client businesses.
• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, including platform selection and determination of what to migrate (applications, workloads, data).
• Advise on cloud architectures and services best suited to meet client needs, ensuring optimal scalability, reliability, and security.
• Provide expert advice on the design, procurement, and implementation of IT hardware and software.
• Analyze existing technology environments to identify deficiencies and recommend solutions.
• Oversee the deployment of new systems and ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and business leadership to understand their vision and challenges.
• Communicate technology strategies to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing their technical and professional skills.
• Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met within budget and time constraints.
• Identify risks and provide strategic solutions to mitigate them effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technology Architect, with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and their application.
• Experience in digital and cloud transformations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of persuading and influencing key decision-makers.
• Analytical thinker with a problem-solving aptitude.

Technical Expertise

• Relevant certifications (*, TOGAF, Google Cloud Architect Professional, CCNP, Microsoft Azure Architect Expert, VMWare Certified Professional) are preferred.
• Proven experience with different technology domains including Servers, Storage, Network, Security, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, and Server OS.
• Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Password Management.
• Experience and knowledge of Networking technologies and security, VPN, Identity Access Management (IAM), and VOIP.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, VMWare vCenter, Dell VXRail, EMC, PowerEdge server, or other forms of Hyper-converged environments.
• Strong experience with different Microsoft Technologies (SQL, SharePoint, SCCM, SCOM).

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working within a collaborative team environment focused on delivering innovative technology solutions to clients.
