Unity Game Developer Role

SHEBA JOY is seeking a Unity Game Developer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves contributing to the development, optimization, and LiveOps of current and upcoming mobile games. The developer will be responsible for building high-quality mobile games and gameplay systems using Unity and C#.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile games using Unity and C#.
• Build gameplay mechanics, game systems, UI interactions, animations, and other game features.
• Translate game designs, prototypes, and technical requirements into clean and functional implementations.
• Develop reusable and modular components for use across different games and projects.
• Integrate APIs, backend services, analytics, authentication, social features, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement monetization systems, including in-app purchases, advertisements, virtual currencies, rewards, and game economy features.
• Support LiveOps, including events, offers, content updates, configuration-driven features, and ongoing game improvements.
• Optimize games for performance, memory usage, loading time, and various Android/iOS devices.
• Collaborate with artists to integrate 2D/3D assets, animations, VFX, UI, and audio into Unity.
• Work with QA to ensure game stability and release quality.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, well-documented code.
• Support App Store and Google Play build, testing, and release processes.

Required Profile

Beyond technical skills, the ideal candidate will understand games as products, not solely as software. This includes a focus on player experience, retention, performance, monetization, and the ability to continuously improve a live game based on player behavior and data.

Team Collaboration

The Unity Game Developer will work closely with game designers, artists, backend developers, and the LiveOps team. This collaboration involves taking features from concept through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing improvement.
