VP Private Equity

About the Role

Hays is partnering with a PIF Fund to recruit a Vice President of Private Equity for their Investment team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working closely with the Managing Director on investment activities, from deal sourcing to portfolio management. The position requires over 10 years of experience in the field.

Role Context

This role is within a PIF-backed fund focused on achieving Vision 2030 objectives. The Vice President will contribute to a rapidly expanding organization, collaborating with experienced professionals on impactful growth and strategic innovation within the investment sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deal sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and transaction execution.
• Independently assess opportunities, create investment cases, and prepare presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Finance teams, and manage external advisors during due diligence processes.
• Support portfolio companies, including attending senior meetings and tracking performance to meet return targets.
• Mentor associates and contribute to continuous industry research and strategy refinement.
• Build relationships to source new investments and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity or a related banking professional role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead deal execution and portfolio management activities.
• Experience in deal sourcing and screening.
