W Hotels in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Wash Attendant to join their team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel's laundry services. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Wash Attendant will be responsible for operating and monitoring various laundry machinery, including washing, dry cleaning, and drying equipment. This involves tasks such as adding necessary chemicals and performing routine cleaning of lint traps. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to identify stained or damaged items and determine the appropriate course of action, whether it be repair, spot treatment, rewashing, or discarding.

• Inspect the cleanliness of articles after washing, drying, or dry-cleaning processes.
• Place cleaned items into designated clean linen carts.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric types for each load.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load.
• Fold cleaned articles to a designated size, utilizing folding machines or manual folding.
• Maintain accurate records of all laundered items.

Adherence to Policies and Standards

This role requires strict adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures. Employees are expected to report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management and complete all required safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform is essential, as is the protection of company assets and the confidentiality of proprietary information.
