About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an AGE Planning, Scheduling and Documentation Supervisor to join their team in Taif. This full-time role is responsible for deputizing for a Data Management Team within the Typhoon Depth Maintenance Organisation, focusing on planning, scheduling, and documentation compliance, as well as continuous improvement. The position also involves company line management responsibilities, including providing functional direction, guidance, and exercising duty of care, welfare, and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and improve maintenance practices within the organization, reporting any malpractice affecting airworthiness or safety.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary facilities and resources to meet contractual obligations.
  • Monitor personnel standards, identify negative trends, and manage personnel development reports.
  • Foster a work environment built on trust and adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct.
  • Provide training, consolidation, and counterpart development for RSAF and BAE Systems personnel.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes to support Depth Management.
  • Maintain operational readiness of shop equipment, including scheduling necessary calibrations.
  • Ensure the correct and accurate completion of TTP 131s for the depth environment.
  • Report and monitor damage or deficiencies to equipment and infrastructure using the correct reporting media.
  • Verify that all personnel undertaking maintenance are authorized.
  • Maintain an anti-FOD surveillance program and report potential hazards.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out to meet the highest quality standards and conduct oversight checks for shop husbandry.
  • Ensure timely daily data updates, addressing any reporting issues promptly.
  • Undertake 2nd Signature responsibilities as required.
  • Liaise with the depth team to ensure data requirements and inputs are accurate.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A recognized qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, a technical apprenticeship, or an equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.
  • Extensive post-qualification practical maintenance experience within an operational flying aircraft environment, supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training, or substantial same aircraft type experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft-based products.
  • Experience working with ESS and AGE equipment.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to supervise engineering personnel at all levels.
  • The successful candidate must obtain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level prior to or upon commencement of employment in KSA, and maintain this membership throughout their employment.

Desirable Attributes

  • Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures.
  • Broad aerospace and defence company/industry knowledge.
  • Proven supervisory experience within the defined area.
  • Understanding of RAF and/or RSAF engineering operating procedures.
  • A track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.
  • Previous experience in delivering workplace training.
  • An understanding of ESS or similar electronic-based reporting systems.

Work Environment and Context

This is a full-time position based in Taif. BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the development of Saudi National capability. The role involves direct access to a Secondary Line Manager for independent issue resolution within the Depth Data Management environment.
