About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join its team in Taif. This full-time role involves controlling and managing personnel and resources for AGF Mechanical Trade activities. The position supports Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Operational Flying Squadrons and assists in coordinating aircraft generation to maximize Operational Ready Rates, in accordance with the RSAF Regulatory Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate supervisor manpower for maintenance activities, flight line duties, and EOR and Hit Team duties.
  • Demand aircraft spares and raise TPRFs against approved data.
  • Raise TQs for any aircraft-related anomalies.
  • Carry out PMDS downloads and assess arisings, including SHM and EHM analysis as required.
  • Complete PIP for assigned manpower and identify training requirements.
  • Liaise with the Mechanical Senior Superintendent to ensure all engineering authorizations are current.
  • Conduct thorough shift handovers and ensure adherence to tool control procedures and approved data.
  • Ensure good husbandry practices are observed and maintained.
  • Support the QA and higher HQ reporting process.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support operations.
  • Support aircrew debriefs as required and provide assistance to Supervisors in troubleshooting/fault finding.
  • Carry out required senior Supervisory inspections and checks as per approved data.
  • Confirm job completion to the Rectification Controller / Maintenance Advisor.
  • Review changes to approved data impacting the trade (data modules, TyIMPs, TTPs, etc.).
  • Ensure all Supervisor man-hours are accurately recorded on ESS for aircraft maintenance or in a local log for non-ESS assigned tasks.
  • Manage the welfare and discipline of all assigned staff in conjunction with other Management and Supervisory staff.
  • Provide advice and guidance to assigned supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to control and manage personnel and resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with RSAF Regulatory Framework is essential.
