As a General Accountant, you will play a vital role in our operations, focusing on international entities' statutory reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with country-specific statutory accounting, tax, and regulatory filings.
- Manage local annual audit and financial statement reporting process.
- Prepare necessary schedules, reconciliations, and analyses.
- Support relationships with local service providers and ensure timely communications.
- Compile financial information and conduct fluctuation analyses.
- Prepare VAT filings and corporate income tax return.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and internal audit controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel with excellent analytical capabilities.
- Experience in a global company and familiarity with Oracle ERP are preferred.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
