About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist - Artificial Lift to join its Oilfield Services business in Dhahran, Eastern. This full-time role involves providing technical expertise for artificial lift requirements, specifically with electrical submersible pumps, to enhance client operations. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Contribution

The Oilfield Services business delivers intelligent, connected technologies for monitoring and controlling energy extraction assets. As a Field Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring reliable and efficient operations for customers by providing peace of mind through expert technical support in electrical submersible pumps and artificial lift solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation and pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and test downhole ESP equipment independently to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• Lead the field service team effectively to ensure positive customer outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
• Conduct all business activities in adherence to HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 2-8 years of technical experience in running Electrical Submersible Pump or Artificial Lift tools or equipment.
• A Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or a higher qualification.
• Experience with ESP installations using Y-Tool.
• Analytical skills for routing ESP problems during troubleshooting.
• Valid offshore experience.
• Experience with POD system installation, well pre-commissioning activities, and well commissioning and start-up activities.
