King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), located in Dhahran, invites applications from highly motivated and qualified candidates for a full-time position as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer. This role is situated within the Electrical Engineering Department, contributing to the university's academic and research excellence.

The Role

The successful candidate will play an active role in delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to curriculum development. Key aspects of this position include providing academic advising, supporting departmental service activities, and engaging in ongoing professional development. Where appropriate, the role also involves participation in collaborative research or applied projects aligned with departmental priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in core and specialized areas of Electrical Engineering, such as power systems, electronics, control systems, communications, circuits, or renewable energy.
• Prepare comprehensive course materials, assignments, and examinations in line with departmental standards.
• Incorporate modern teaching methods, technology, and industry-relevant practices into instruction.
• Contribute to the design, review, and continuous improvement of undergraduate and/or graduate programs.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate student projects, capstones, and internships.
• Provide academic advising, guidance, and support to students.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Contribute to outreach, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
• Support departmental initiatives, including laboratories, student clubs, and industry collaboration efforts.
• Engage in applied research, scholarly activities, or professional practice, depending on departmental expectations.
• Foster industry and community partnerships.

Preferred Teaching Expertise

In line with current instructional needs, preference will be given to candidates demonstrating teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Control Systems
• Electronics
• Electromagnetics
• Networks
