About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for faculty positions within the Department of Mathematics. These full-time roles are available at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels, focusing on Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science. The university is located in Dhahran.

Specialization Focus

While applications across Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science are welcome, particular consideration will be given to candidates demonstrating expertise in Data Science and Financial Mathematics. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's academic and research objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant fields.
• Advise and mentor students at various academic levels.
• Supervise Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) theses/dissertations.
• Develop and secure funding for research programs aligned with their area of specialization.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A conferred ** or an equivalent international doctoral degree is required.
• Junior candidates are expected to demonstrate significant promise in research, along with strong interest and capability in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Senior candidates must show a proven record of excellence in research and a strong commitment to teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
