About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of the organization's cybersecurity framework. The role is integral to protecting sensitive data and guarding against malicious disruptions to business continuity at JHAH.

Cybersecurity Infrastructure Management

The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for the operational integrity of JHAH's cybersecurity infrastructure. Key duties include:

  • Implementing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring IT cybersecurity infrastructure, such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, encryption protocols, intrusion detection systems, access management systems, network monitoring solutions, and security operations center systems.
  • Ensuring that all cybersecurity resources are reliable, stable, scalable, secure, and perform optimally.
  • Ensuring cybersecurity infrastructure complies with relevant best practices, regulatory requirements, enterprise architecture standards, governance programs, and cybersecurity policies.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

This role involves active participation in JHAH's cybersecurity governance and compliance initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the organization's cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance programs.
  • Enforcing adherence to established controls, policies, procedures, standards, regulations, frameworks, and incident response plans through regular assessments, drills, and training and awareness campaigns.

Incident Response and Vendor Management

The analyst plays a role in responding to security threats and managing external cybersecurity partnerships. This includes:

  • Detecting and responding to cybersecurity incidents, intrusions, breaches, threats, and vulnerabilities in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Managing engagements with contracted vendors for cybersecurity support, managed services, or professional services to ensure that service delivery meets the targeted scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.

Service Delivery and Project Support

The position also supports internal IT service and project requirements from a cybersecurity perspective. Key tasks involve:

  • Fulfilling cybersecurity-related service requests in compliance with the organization's relevant policies and procedures.
  • Evaluating and processing the cybersecurity aspects of IT demand requests and supporting the fulfillment of those that are approved, in compliance with relevant policies and the organization's IT project management framework.

Required Experience and Knowledge

Candidates for this role should possess:

  • 0-1 years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity field.
  • Working knowledge in at least one of the relevant cybersecurity technologies and processes.
