About BAE Systems Saudi Arabia

The Role of Electronic Communication Instructor
BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electronic Communication Instructor for a full-time position in Dhahran. This role involves the effective and efficient analysis, design, development, and delivery of training solutions for Electronic Communication systems, including Radio and Workshop instruction, to meet customer needs and the requirements of the Training Systems Institute (TSI).
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and lead specialist training functions and conduct specialist training in support of TSI.
- Ensure the welfare of students in assigned areas during training and monitor performance to achieve maximum progress.
- Teach common modules within the common course or other identified related modules.
- Perform analysis, design, production, development, and delivery of new and existing training courses, ensuring alignment with customer needs regarding time, cost, and specification.
- Research, write, and validate advanced training notes.
- Deliver and supervise practical On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training consolidation.
- Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert for bidding processes, customer inquiries, and training proposals.
- Specify, design, and develop appropriate training aids, including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
- Produce training support materials such as curriculum, training objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment methods.
- Maintain and review technical expertise to ensure compatibility with technical advances and evolving needs.
- Conduct cadet assessment and evaluation exercises, implementing remedial action as required.
- Plan, control, and deliver assigned courses, contributing to cross-discipline courses and investigations.
- Counsel students regarding academic performance or behaviour as needed.
- Complete and submit weekly cadet reports, STS, and End of Phase Reports.
- Document work, attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, cadet portfolios, and schemes of work.
- Complete a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Review ECT courseware for improvement.
- Maintain classroom procedures as published in the TSI, including discipline.
- Stay informed of developments in the subject area and attend staff development courses as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential:
- University degree in Electronics Communication or a graduate of an advanced military trade school, industrial equivalent, or relevant educational establishment with completed OJT.
- Practical experience across the full range of Electronics Communication Technology, including Ground-to-Air communication, Satellite-Communication (SATCOM), and Fibre Optics.
- For non-native English speakers, an in-date IELTS certificate with a minimum overall score of and speaking and listening band scores of is required upon recruitment.
- Recent teaching or instructional experience supported by formal certificates.
- Desirable:
- Successful completion of an accredited instructional techniques course.
- Experience and knowledge in City & Guilds Education and Training L2.
- L3 Assessor qualification (TAQA).
- Hands-on experience in electronics and communications laboratories.
