About the Role

The Department of Chemistry at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Chemistry. This full-time position is based in Dhahran and is open exclusively to Saudi nationals. The role involves contributing to both research and teaching activities within the department.

Key Responsibilities

The Graduate Assistant will be expected to commit approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out assigned teaching duties.
• Conducting research as directed by the department.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing various administrative duties.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the academic department concerned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• A full-time bachelor’s degree with very good academic grades.
• Certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Experience level required is 0-1 years.

Language of Instruction

The primary medium of instruction at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is English. Candidates should be proficient in English to effectively perform teaching and research duties.
