Role Summary

JHAH is seeking a Mortuary Technician to join our team in Dhahran. This is a full-time, technical position responsible for the dignified, safe, and hygienic operation of the hospital mortuary. The role ensures strict adherence to Ministry of Health (MOH) infection control protocols, maintains the physical chain of custody for deceased patients, and manages environmental safety standards within the cold storage facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive deceased individuals from clinical wards, verifying "Dual Identifier" tags and accurately documenting the chain of custody in the Morgue Register.
• Monitor and record temperature and humidity levels of cold chambers in accordance with established policies and procedures, reporting any deviations immediately.
• Coordinate terminal cleaning and disinfection of storage units, hydraulic lifts, and all surfaces using hospital-grade agents.
• Apply specific Ministry of Health (MOH) precautions, including shrouding and bagging, for high-risk infectious bodies (*, COVID-19, MERS).
• Assist forensic authorities with body identification and sample preservation when police cases occur.
• Physically release deceased individuals to authorized family members or municipality services.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong commitment to professional standards and meticulous attention to detail in a sensitive environment.
