Merchandising Supervisor

About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Merchandising Supervisor for a full-time position in Medina. This role involves overseeing merchandising activities for assigned routes and managing dedicated in-store areas in accordance with company policies. The supervisor will optimize stock levels and product displays to support sales targets across various routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of merchandisers for assigned routes and stores, ensuring proper product display and availability to increase shelf share and meet SADAFCO merchandising standards.
• Gather and maintain knowledge of sales and distribution channels, as well as competitor activities within the area, sharing insights with the sales team for strategic actions.
• Develop and implement daily journey plans for all merchandisers to ensure efficient customer route planning.
• Monitor product shelf life in stores to ensure reserved space is adequately filled and no expired products are displayed, controlling wastage according to company policies.
• Implement new and existing customer contracts to achieve fair shelf share among product groups and customers, maximizing product availability and ensuring alignment with annual rental agreements.
• Analyze bestsellers, including price points, display colors, and styles, to maximize their potential. Conduct random spot checks in outlets to ensure compliance with shelf rental agreements and merchandising policies.
• Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of company assets (chillers/freezers) and point-of-sale materials to high standards, maximizing sales and market share through creative use.
• Prepare daily merchandising reports and stock audits, advising on procedural concerns to ensure all merchandising administration is completed accurately and on time.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in merchandising supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage merchandising operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of sales, distribution channels, and competitor analysis.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Medina, requiring active supervision of merchandising teams and in-store activities across various routes.
