The Role: Senior Engineer – BIM, Design & Interface Coordination

HCO is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – BIM, Design & Interface Coordination to join its dedicated team. This full-time position is based in AlUla, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for supporting the successful delivery of a major construction project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination activities across multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases.
• Manage design interfaces between architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Review BIM models, design drawings, and technical submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify, track, and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination tools.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project specifications, and coordination procedures.
• Support design reviews, technical workshops, and interface management meetings.
• Prepare BIM coordination reports, clash detection reports, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and support timely resolution of design and coordination issues.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams on BIM processes and best practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this Senior Engineer role will possess over 10 years of experience in relevant engineering fields, with a strong background in BIM, design management, and interface coordination within large-scale construction projects.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position. The role is based in AlUla, which is located within the Al Madinah region of Saudi Arabia, supporting a major construction initiative.
