The Role of a Signaling Engineer

As a Signaling Engineer based in Medina (Al Madinah), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and safety of railway signaling systems. This full-time role focuses on optimizing system performance within an operational railway environment through effective maintenance strategies, thorough fault analysis, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain signaling system performance.
Conduct L1&L2 investigations of signaling failures and perform root cause analysis.
Perform and review maintenance procedures, checklists, and schedules.
Perform and supervise field maintenance activities.
Analyze system logs to identify faults.
Coordinate with traffic controllers and maintenance teams during incidents and service disruptions.
Support emergency response and restoration activities, including potential shift or on-call duties.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Identify improvement opportunities and propose technical solutions, such as modifications and upgrades.
Prepare technical reports, failure analysis reports, and performance dashboards.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in railway signaling systems or a related technical field.
