Diagnostic Radiology Registrar

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Registrar to join their team in Al Madinah, with opportunities in Yanbu and Medina. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses through comprehensive patient examination and diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients and document clinical findings.
• Take detailed medical histories from patients.
• Prescribe appropriate medications for patient treatment.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare as relevant to their individual cases.
• Design and execute patient care plans.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Order and review the results of patient investigations.
• Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.

Diagnostic Radiology Privileges

The role includes specific diagnostic general radiology privileges based on training, experience, skills, and in accordance with Saudi Health Council guidelines. These include:

• Plain Film Non-Contrast Routine Radiography.
• Contrast Studies, including IVP and HSG.
• Chest Plain films.
• General ultrasound, including abdominal and obstetrical imaging.
• Performing mammograms without interpretation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Specific privileges will be granted based on documented training, experience, and skills.

Work Environment

This is an indoor role, with 100% of work performed within clinical settings. The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Working hours are 8 net hours per day, adhering to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
