About the Role

Nestlé is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to leading, governing, and improving the maintenance planning process at the site. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for establishing routine and extraordinary maintenance plans for all site assets, ensuring activities are executed on time and in full to maintain healthy assets, enabling safe operations, food safety, quality, compliance, and high-performance levels.

Key Responsibilities

As the custodian of Maintenance Planning & Scheduling routines, the Maintenance Planner will optimize maintenance plans, integrate Maintenance Excellence Packages (MEP) for the Category, leverage digital solutions, and ensure competitive end-to-end life cycle costs. A critical aspect of this role involves ensuring assets are maintained to a modern state, incorporating the latest technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Core Duties

• Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for all site assets, integrating OEM plans, to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Establish and govern maintenance planning standard routines, including task prioritization, maintenance shutdown scheduling in collaboration with production, and work order execution review.
• Coordinate with third-party maintenance service providers and the technical store team to ensure timely task execution and efficient kitting processes.
• Monitor and track maintenance activity execution, addressing deviations promptly, and implementing measures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with AMM standards, regulatory requirements, and adherence to established maintenance plans.

Continuous Improvement and Digital Integration

• Regularly review and optimize maintenance plans within the Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM) system to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the planning system.
• Coordinate and facilitate the deployment of Maintenance Excellence Packages (MEP) across the site asset base, establishing governance to align asset performance and maintenance costs with MEP benefits.
• Develop and implement plans to integrate digital solutions for maintenance, including Predictive Maintenance (PdM) into AMM, real-time reporting, and AMM Mobile adoption.
• Analyze and optimize the life cycle costs of maintenance activities, identifying cost-saving opportunities while managing maintenance budgets and parts inventories.
• Support the preparation and implementation of maintenance plans for CAPEX projects and new lines, ensuring adequate resources are available from the start.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a reputed college or university.
• 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance area, preferably in Plant Operations & Maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Asset Maintenance Management (AMM) systems.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability-centered maintenance, and asset management.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (*, SAP) and other relevant software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Insight into TPM PM Pillar methodology and governance.
