The Role of Visual Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on inspiring visitors through strong visual presentations of IKEA home furnishing solutions, aiming to exceed expectations and strengthen the IKEA Brand. The specialist will contribute to converting visitors into customers through effective visual merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions within the store using visual merchandising expertise, focusing on store layout, range presentation, and vitality.
• Contribute to the department action plan with initiatives that support business growth and long-term profitability, executing agreed plans in collaboration with other functions.
• Plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable, and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect local market needs, diverse styles, and price levels, exceeding visitor expectations.
• Maintain awareness of visitor experience, minimizing disruption, and ensuring safety and visual impact while working on the shop floor.
• Adhere to routines and responsibilities, collaborate with the Com&In team and other functions, act promptly on commercial opportunities, and understand the financial impact of actions.
• Ensure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost-consciousness in planning and implementing range presentation solutions by applying national directions and utilizing global tools, proven solutions, and best practices.
• Actively gather insights on store layout and range presentation, translating this knowledge into relevant store solutions that support a convenient shopping experience and reflect local life-at-home needs.
• Stay informed about home furnishing, retailing, and trends to generate creative directions that inspire visitors with strong visual impressions.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field. The role requires a strong understanding of visual presentation techniques and their impact on customer engagement and sales.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The Visual Merchandising Specialist will work collaboratively within the Commercial & Interior Design (Com&In) team and other store functions to achieve common goals.
