About Amrak Facilities Management and the Role

This full-time position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Director Finance will oversee all financial operations at Amrak Facilities Management. This role requires strong knowledge of financial management, extensive familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and an understanding of the Facilities Management Sector. The successful candidate will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with accounting legislation, and strategic alignment with business goals and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring actual performance against budget, and providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improvements.
  • Analyze and create financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS standards.
  • Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities, and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Liaise with department heads to ensure each department operates within budget.
  • Accurately prepare tax returns, oversee Withholding Tax and VAT Return Filing, and ensure timely payment of company taxes.
  • Supervise, provide overall guidance, and develop the Accounting Operation Team, including account clerks and junior accounting staff.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding company finances and manage monthly closing procedures.
  • Ensure the company maintains compliance with accounting legislation, financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, identify financial risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software for accurate and efficient financial processes.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth audits and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Lead or support special financial projects as needed, such as acquisitions, cost/value analysis, or financial modeling.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with the Facilities Management Sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
