The ICS Network Engineer Opportunity

This full-time position involves contributing to the implementation and support of network technology, ensuring alignment with Air Products' global standards and strategic direction. The ICS Network Engineer will play a crucial part in maintaining robust and secure enterprise and remote site connectivity, supporting critical infrastructure and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing new and enhanced network technology that aligns with Air Products’ and project-specific documented standards and strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
• Learning, understanding, and complying with Air Products standards for global network infrastructure, including wireless, LAN, and SD-WAN networks and connectivity.
• Working closely with Enterprise Security, Architects, and Network Engineering teams to understand high-level designs and deploy services in line with strategic direction.
• Executing engineering efforts to ensure the currency and supportability of networking technology.
• Providing network support for problem escalations.
• Working with external service providers to troubleshoot and commission wide area network technologies.
• Participating in Cyber SAT, Integrated SAT, and last planner exercises.
• Meeting service level commitments for network incidents and deployments.
• Configuring and commissioning ICS network hardware.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a network engineering role, or applied industry certifications with 5 years equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience with current LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN networking routing and switching systems.
• Physical access to applicable Air Products locations within Saudi Arabia.

• Strong working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
• Proven ability to manage defined scope for field deployments, including planning, project management, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Ability to recognize and communicate risks, and produce mitigation recommendations.
• Intermediate skill with network device configuration using CLIs as well as portal/platform management tools.
• Intermediate scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Linux.
• Intermediate troubleshooting skills using networking tools such as Wireshark and vendor platform portals to identify and diagnose infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Ability to interpret design diagrams and accurately document basic network infrastructure environments using programs like Visio.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes and procedures for lifecycle management.
