Red Sea Global is seeking a Senior Dockhand for its subsidiary, Coastal Transportation Services Co., in Umluj, Tabuk. This full-time role requires individuals who can contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

This supervisory position operates within a 24/7 shift system and involves leading a team, assisting with vessel berthing, and supporting overall marina operations. The role requires strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills, along with the ability to work night shifts. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities, particularly in leading dockside assistance and responding to emergencies to ensure the safety of the marina and its assets. The position is suitable for individuals with prior marina, yachting, or watersports knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the on-the-job training of junior dockhands.
• Perform maintenance and fault-finding to assist in creating a snagging list for the marina.
• Support the creation of schedules and basic reporting functions.
• Provide feedback for the development of site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate on team training.
• Ensure vessels are securely moored and protected from damage, communicating with captains and crew as needed.
• Lead routine checks, cleaning, and maintenance of pontoons, marina workboats, and facilities.
• Lead the cleaning and washing of vessels according to rosters and operational requirements, ensuring SOP adherence and resource monitoring.
• Manage inventory, ensuring safe storage and correct use of cleaning chemicals.
• Utilize maintenance skills for marina upkeep and initiate repairs.
• Assess marina cleanliness and lead the cleaning and polishing of fittings and fixtures.
• Drive club cars for passengers, luggage, and waste disposal.
• Perform daily, weekly, and accident reporting using administrative forms and computer skills for marina management.
• Supervise operations at marina fuel docks and handle fuel payments.
• Lead the dockhand team in supporting vessel movements, line handling, and rescue initiatives.
• Operate the marina workboat (with appropriate license) for berthing, emergencies, and towing.
• Assist at special events, exhibitions, and promotions.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring adherence and reporting variances.
• Ensure adherence to all marina rules and regulations, educate yacht crew, and resolve basic infractions, maintaining records for management.
• Respond to emergencies to save life or property, following company ERP and protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven knowledge of marina, yachting, or watersports operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifts.

Required Skills

• Foundational maintenance skills.
• Adequate computer skills for marina management reporting.
• Ability to operate a marina workboat (with correct license).
