Senior Structural Engineer

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Duba, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing specific and moderate portions of broader water infrastructure assignments, with a focus on structural design for water systems and facilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in structural design within the water industry context.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific and moderate portions of broader water infrastructure engineering assignments.
• Gather and correlate hydraulic, structural, and water quality engineering data using established water industry procedures.
• Work on detailed or routine structural engineering assignments, including calculations and testing specific to water treatment facilities, distribution systems, and water infrastructure projects.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems in water engineering by modifying standard water industry procedures or methods from previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in structural analysis results and water system performance data.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers in water infrastructure design and analysis.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision, adhering to water industry standards and regulations.
• Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary structural design elements for water infrastructure works, including treatment plants, pumping stations, and conveyance systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated developmental experience in a professional water engineering position.
