Agriculture Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced Agriculture Engineer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves integrating agricultural and environmental considerations into the design and implementation of steel structure building projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure sustainable and aesthetically aligned agricultural components.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive soil analysis to determine suitability for farming and landscaping around project buildings.
• Implement soil management strategies to optimize land use and enhance fertility.
• Design and implement efficient irrigation systems for landscaping and agricultural components.
• Propose water conservation strategies and water management techniques tailored to project landscapes.
• Identify and select plants, trees, and greenery that align with project aesthetic and environmental objectives.
• Advise on environmentally friendly practices and technologies to support project sustainability goals.
• Develop strategies for ecological preservation and biodiversity enhancement within project scopes.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and landscape designers to integrate agricultural components seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Coordinate with construction supervision teams to ensure successful implementation of agricultural elements during construction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in agriculture engineering.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of soil science, water management, and irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices in agriculture.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Work Environment
