Duncan & Ross is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer L2 to join its technical team in Jeddah. This is a full-time position specifically for a Saudi National, focusing on providing advanced technical assistance and ensuring robust IT operations.

Role Overview

The Desktop L2 Support Engineer plays a critical role in delivering advanced technical support across various IT assets. This position involves addressing escalated issues from Level 1 support, implementing system enhancements, and upholding IT security standards to maintain seamless technology operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Resolve escalated technical issues received from Level 1 support teams.
Perform necessary system upgrades and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
Manage and enforce IT security protocols to protect company assets and data.
Collaborate closely with other IT teams, including L1 support, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure integrated and efficient technology solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

2-4 years of experience in a desktop support or similar technical role.
Demonstrated ability to provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
Strong understanding of IT security protocols and system upgrade procedures.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse IT teams.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic IT department, requiring close interaction and teamwork with various technical specialists to achieve operational excellence.
