Manager Research Capability Building

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Manager Research Capability Building to lead the development of research capabilities within the organization. This full-time role is based in Makkah, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The position involves promoting research policies, procedures, training programs, and collaborations to enhance research excellence.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to drive the strategic development of research capabilities across Fakeeh Care Group. This includes supporting disease registries, facilitating grant-linked training, and ensuring regulatory accreditation. The Manager will contribute to research excellence through talent development, process improvement, and fostering key collaborations both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the strategic roadmap for the Research Capability Building Unit (RCBU).
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and infrastructure to ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Create medical research policies, Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines, and scientific evaluation standards.
• Design guidelines for medical writing support and promote research policies throughout Fakeeh Care Group.
• Develop policies for registration and accreditation with SNIH, RDIA, and international bodies such as AAHRPP.
• Oversee biobanking systems and disease registries.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across Fakeeh Care Group units and with external stakeholders.
• Represent Fakeeh Care Group in national and international partnerships and promote multi-site research projects.
• Assess research skills, design training programs, and increase the pool of qualified Principal Investigators.
• Collaborate with Human Capital Management (HCM) and Fakeeh Academy on career development initiatives.
• Establish recognition and compensation mechanisms for research contributions.
• Maintain regular communication between RCBU, IRB, and CFGO.
• Develop strategies to promote research initiatives internally and externally.
• Lead grant-linked training programs, disease registries, biobanking systems, and volunteer research assistant programs.
• Develop proposals for research management systems.
• Assist with manuscript preparation and presentation of research findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within Fakeeh Care Group, operating in the cities of Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement with various internal departments and external partners to achieve research capability building objectives.
